Anyhow the UBCD worked fine. Can you provide the messages you saw just before the error? It is not recommended to download replacement exe files from any download sites, ddlgdiag5.exe these may themselves contain viruses etc.
If the "Verified Signer" status of a process is listed as "Unable to Verify", you should take a moment look at the process.
